Represents the method that handles a cancellable event.
[Visual Basic] <Serializable> Public Delegate Sub CancelEventHandler( _ ByVal sender As Object, _ ByVal e As CancelEventArgs _ ) [C#] [Serializable] public delegate void CancelEventHandler( object sender, CancelEventArgs e ); [C++] [Serializable] public __gc __delegate void CancelEventHandler( Object* sender, CancelEventArgs* e );
[JScript] In JScript, you can use the delegates in the .NET Framework, but you cannot define your own.
The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the CancelEventHandler delegate declaration.
When you create a CancelEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event-handler method is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event-handler delegates, see
For an example of how to use the CancelEventHandler delegate, please see the sample code in the CancelEventArgs class.
